  • About: I care a tremendous amount about teaching and student learning. I have taught this course many times and made the videos that we will be utilized in this course. I blend a decent amount of technology into my classes (as you will see) and try my best to be engaging as possible even in the large lecture setting. Calculus is a difficult class so I expect you to give it your all. Make a routine and stick to it! In my free time, I enjoy Netflix, board games, nerdy board games, and the occasional game of ultimate frisbee. I have collected a decent number of useless skills such as knowing roughly 100 digits of \(\pi\) and being able to solve a Rubik's cube in under a minute.

  • About: As a math instructor I view myself much like the coach of a sport team. If the team loses, both the coach and the players share disappointments, but if the team wins, they share great satisfaction for the achieved accomplishment. The exams are our matches. Preparing for a match is equivalent to preparing for the exams. To be well prepared, consistent practice is crucial. My training sessions consist of videos and in-class lessons - be aware, the two are complementary and not interchangeable. It takes concentration, motivation, passion, and constant commitment to always give your best. I always share my previous experiences as instructor, and I cherish them to help my students excel. You will understand what has been taught to you, and you may end up loving math as much as I do, if you don’t already!
